This is not a parody.

Remember the fake movie trailers at the beginning of Tropic Thunder that mocked how cliched Hollywood movies can be? Well I am sad to report that the following is not a deleted scene from Thunder. It is, in fact and terrifyingly, an actual movie.

    Wow, did Adam Sandler’s career take a big enough hit with “Funny People” that he now has to share top billing with David Spade?

    I think they are trying to capitalize on our generation who loved movies like Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, and Tommy Boy. The problem, of course, is that the severely miscalculated the age gap and made a movie for old men rather than a raunchy comedy for 20-and 30-somethings. Still, maybe this will be an R-rated gem in the end. I doubt it though.
