I know that sounds hyperbolic, but I’m entirely serious. Rational, socially-adjusted people do not behave in this way.

Yeah I’ve wondered about him for a while. Not that I disagree with what he is saying, but wow. After that crying incident a few months back, I’ve had my doubts about him.
Then again, maybe he is just so passionate that he couldn’t hold it in anymore. I know I’ve felt like screaming at nonsensical liberals many times. But I haven’t, so yes, maybe you are right to question him.
I think he’s merely being hyperbolic and to some people the screaming is probably funny.
Less mentally ill than silly in my opinion.
I just listened to this a few more times, and I have to disagree Coolidge. Beck sounds like he is auditioning for the Exorcist.
Beck’s history of drug abuse suggests a tendency towards extreme behavior, and I don’t doubt him when he says he is going to lose his mind.
I think he probably is mentally ill in some way, I can imagine the life experiences you would need to have to become a person who is as confused as Glenn Beck.
I remember one show where he’s talking about how you should worship/talk to anything as long as you are not an Atheist, he gave a spoon as an example.
That behaviour is not normal, it’s sad that he’s displayed on national TV for the amusement of Americans, he deserves some professional attention.
