Witness his campaign’s bungling of the fact that he failed to pay taxes in seventeen different states. Oops!

Textbook case of a green politician, I’m surprised Franken didn’t have this checked out long before he announced his candidacy.
Care to include the words “backtaxes” and “accountant error” in your description?
Yeah, stupid mistake, but hardly tax evasion or campaign ending.
Not really.
1.A link to the article explaining all of that information is quite prominently provided.
2.If I were gullible enough to believe every excuse given by a candidate caught for a stupid mistake, I’d still be trying to figure out why everyone got so worked up over a spontaneously-created word like ‘macaca.’
3.Franken loses his credibility by having dealt with this issue in such a convoluted manner. I’d suspect a simple, honest mistake to be dealt with in a straightforward way.
This is further proof that Al Franken should never be taken seriously.
