Beer Review: Blue Moon

With warmer weather just a couple months away its time to look at some lighter beers good for the summer. Coors’ Blue Moon is a refreshing wheat brew that pours as a nice gold color. Its head stays on well into the drink. The smell is almost orange like, but the flavor has a sweet lemon touch. There isn’t much of an after-taste as it has a really crisp finish. Blue Moon isn’t a thick beer so it won’t fill you up. Once summer hits this beer is a must try.

I’m not a big Blue Moon fan, but I do enjoy their pumpkin ale well enough. I suppose you have to give Coors some credit for at least trying to micro brew (Anheuser does the same thing now).

It’s yummy with an organge in it (don’t try when attempting to be overly manly…).
